Let's hope it comes in addition to a functional combat system.ħ:59 - The robot will actually speak your name, they recorded about 1000 popular names. He calls it "the best f**king" stupid gimmick he has ever seen.Ĩ:04 - Demoing the new pip-boy, which has Fallout-style Donkey Kong in it!Ĩ:00 Also, your character isn't mute, which is a huge change for Bethesda. I must restrain myself, but man - that's fun. It fits your phone, and there's an app to actually make it work in the game. This looks real fun.Ĩ:08 - A new game? an iphone game? a Fallout iphone game?Ĩ:06 - A real pip-boy comes with the collector's edition. They all look like the little Fallout guy. Comes out tonight!Ĩ:10 - The game is Fallout Shelter, where you get design your very own Fallout Vault, a little bit Xcom, SimCity, and I notice some simtower in there. The company also announced Fallout Shelter, a free-to-play mobile game that looks pretty good.Ĩ:11 - Free to play, no internet connection required, no time restraints, no paywalls. The plasticky graphics looked a whole lot better in motion than they did in the teaser trailer, as well and the company capped the whole thing off by announcing a 2015 release date. We saw a good chunk of Fallout 4, from the opening sequences to a combat montage and what looks like an extensive crafting system for weapons, armor, and buildings. We then moved through slightly shorter segments on The Elder Scrolls Online and Battlecry before moving to the main event: Fallout 4. They then showed a short cinematic trailer for Dishonored 2, the followup to the critically acclaimed dishonored. The company started the show with a lengthy gameplay demo of Doom, which felt like a modern update that kept the soul of the original in much the same way Wolfenstein: The New Order did earlier this year. Bethesda just closed out its first-ever E3 press conference, and I think it's safe to say that they did pretty well with it.
